Mount Pisgah Arboretum
A dream location for all four seasons in Eugene Oregon for Senior Photos
If you’re all about golden grass, forest trails, and sweeping views, Mount Pisgah is a great option. The scenery changes beautifully with the seasons, giving you a beautiful backdrop all year long. I love incorporating movement here, like walking along the winding paths or spinning in the open fields. It’s a location that has so much variety in all four seasons. I love the fields, forest area and some of my favorite secret water spots for senior photos in the Eugene, OR area.
Pro Tip: Wear comfy shoes for walking and bring a pair of cute ones to swap into for photos!
Eugene/Springfield Lake Senior Photo Locations
If you are wanting some gorgeous Lake Senior Photos in Oregon - there are multiple great locations. Here are some photos from one of my favorite Senior Photoshoots I did recently. The great thing about hiring a senior photographer in the Eugene/Springfield area is the years of experience that let you find some great photo spots without having to travel 2+ hours away from the area. This location has a mix of open fields, a great dock with mountain views and more.
Fun tidbit: Taylin jumped INTO the lake at the end of her photos. It was absolutely freezing and I don’t know how she worked up the courage, but the photos turned out so fun.
Dorris Ranch - Fields and Orchards, oh my!
I absolutely adore Senior photos at Dorris Ranch in Springfield Oregon. Dorris Ranch is a gem with its hazelnut orchards and rustic barns. It’s perfect if you’re into soft, romantic vibes. The light filtering through the trees is pure magic, especially during golden hour. As your Eugene senior photographer, I’ll guide you through poses that feel natural and showcase your personality while making the most of this dreamy spot.
What to Wear: Flowy dresses or casual, layered outfits work beautifully here. I will have more on that at the bottom.
Spencer’s Butte Recreation Area for stunning forest senior photos
One of the best Eugene locations for forest senior photoshoots is the Spencer’s Butte Recreation area. You do not have to hike all the way to the top to get some stunning senior photos. There are lush ferns everywhere, tall trees and plenty of trails to follow to get a wide variety of senior photos.
Get creative: We took some of the ferns and put it in her pocket. I love mixing in fun elements to your senior photoshoot.

Think about what season you want your photos in. If you want Spring or Summer you will want to schedule them before you official Senior year starts. Yearbook photos are typically due before your Christmas vacation so you will want to get them done ahead of time! You can also schedule a cap and gown session with me for the spring. Bring a friend!

Depending on which session you book I recommend 2-4 outfits. I love variation and including a casual outfit and a dressier option. If you are part of any sports team and want to commemorate that, I often have seniors bring a jersey or something that represents that sport as well. Neutral colors tend to keep the focus on your face vs the outfit. I love earth tones and neutrals for clothes. I also love helping my seniors pick out their outfits, so feel free to reach out and we can plan together!

If you bring a parent, I am more than happy to snap a couple of photos of you with them. I also have the option to add on a family mini session to your senior shoot and I have a BFF package for senior shoots. If you and your friend want to do your photos together you will get a discount plus get photos of the two of you together. It’s always so much fun when you have someone to do photos with.
