MY APPROACH

I'm here photograph the humanity of it all. Not just how the day looks, but how it feels. Lets not get wrapped up in the current photography trends and instead just be boldly and unapologetically yourself. I will guide you, but in a way that doesn't put you in a box. The more we get to know each other, the better I can celebrate and show exactly who you are.

Empathetic to a fault, fueled by human connection (Enneagram 2) and feel like it’s my life’s purpose to love on others. I live in the beautiful state of Oregon with my husband Spencer and our sweet daughter Remi. We met and had our first kiss in a high school play, started dating the year after graduation and were together for nine years before getting married.

My photography journey started like a lot of others. I got a fancy canon rebel in high school and got some killer new Myspace profile pictures. (I realized I have aged myself in saying this.) I started shooting my friends senior photos, moved to families and then shot my first wedding in 2011. It was a co-worker and I told her no three times before agreeing. Her mom tipped me $300 and I was flying high. I edited the entire thing on picmonkey and included black and white photos with the florals in color. I was a creative genius. It’s safe to say, I’ve come a long way and experienced a lot. Love has always remained at the core of photos for me.

My Story

The longer I live the more I value photos. Becoming a mom has made me view families and timelines completely differently. I feel the value in remembering the smallest interactions and the smallest details. The ones you swear you will not forget and then you come across a photo and it’s a revelation all over again. Losing my grandpa and the great loving role model of my life has created an immeasurable value in photos. Photos of him at my wedding are my most prized possessions.

I create trust in all my relationships, personal and business that eventually becomes personal. I give a piece of myself so that you can in turn do the same.
