Oceana drove all the way from the Southern Oregon Coast for her senior photos with me, and we had the BEST time creating something a little different!
She wanted photos that felt unique to her, so we planned a few fun details to bring along. She picked up a beautiful bouquet from a local farmers market, and we paired it with a basket for some playful, romantic portraits. I love when seniors bring something extra to their sessions, especially when it gives us another way to get creative with their photos.
For her session, we headed to one of my favorite lakeside locations near Eugene, Oregon. There’s a dock that stretches out into the water, with hills surrounding the lake and the most beautiful evening light. We caught the sun as it was setting, and I couldn’t get enough of how everything looked against the water.
One of the things I love about photographing senior portraits around Eugene is how much variety we have just a short drive outside the city. You can have photos that feel completely different from the usual senior session without needing to travel hours to find the perfect setting.
Oceana was so much fun to photograph, and I loved getting to create something that felt like her.
